It's time for combat. The monster leaps at you. Roll 1d6 on the Random Monster chart to see what just appeared. There is no reasoning with these monsters - only combat. Remember, you may use Magic, but if you do, that is your entire attack and defense for the turn. When you see the monster, you have one moment when you could pray to Gristlegrim to save you - if you pray, go to Prayer. Fight your battle to the death. If you win, go to 2V, and try again.. If you lose, close the book.
