Tunnels & Trolls : Gristlegrim Room 111--Scramble Room

This is a standard Gristlegrim Room. There are doors in the center of all four walls.

In the center of the room is an open treasure chest, and inside the chest are sapphires worth 1D6 times 100 gold pieces each. There will be one gem for each member of the party.

Wizards can detect functional magic on the gems. If a gem is touched by a party member, the delver's attributes are re-arranged, by moving each rating down one on the character sheet. The last attribute moves up to be first.

After attributes have changed, but before characters can leave the room, uruks with a monster rating of 50 each, armed with scimitars and wearing lizard-leather armor are teleported into the room. There is one for each character, and a fight to the death before anyone can leave.

Players who touch gems will be told to say "I feel strange." But the effect of the transformation will not be described until the combat begins.
